The 1st of April meeting will signify the end of the 2011 first term and the beginning of the school holidays. A fun program has been lined for all on this evening.
From the 15th to the 18th of April, our scouts who will be travelling to Sweden in July this year will be attending a preparation camp. The Scouts who will be part of the 2011 Zimbabwe Contingent are :- Lloyd Nyakuyaka, Takudzwa Mujuru, Tatenda Rateiwa, Laidah Mwale and Lainah Machemba. They will fly our nation’s flag high at this year’s Jamboree.
When the second term commences, the first major event that we will be preparing for is the Cooking Competition. Year in year out, this is the event that all the children look forward to. Funding permitting, all Cub Scouts and Scouts will take part in this year’s Cooking Competition.
Another major highlight for the coming term is the Annual camp in Nyanga which will be held in August.
